Simon Gabriel was elect­ed as Pres­i­dent of the ICC Swiss Com­mis­sion for Arbi­tra­tion and ADR and will take office in March 2023.

Axel Buhr, Andreas Schre­gen­berg­er and Simon Gabriel con­tributed as authors to the Bernese Com­men­tary (Bern­er Kom­men­tar) on Swiss Law of Inter­na­tion­al Arbi­tra­tion. Simon Gabriel was rec­og­nized as one of the top twelve ​“most high­ly regard­ed” arbi­tra­tion prac­ti­tion­ers in Switzer­land by Who’s Who Legal 2022 (Link).

On 21 March 2022, Johannes Land­brecht was appoint­ed pri­vate lec­tur­er (Pri­vat­dozent) at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Fribourg/​Switzerland. He is autho­rized to teach pri­vate law, civ­il jus­tice, pri­vate inter­na­tion­al law and com­par­a­tive law. Con­grat­u­la­tions on a well-deserved success!

On 9 Decem­ber 2021, Simon Gabriel will par­tic­i­pate in a pan­el dis­cus­sion on ​“Par­tic­u­lar­i­ties on the Tak­ing of Evi­dence in Inter­na­tion­al Arbi­tra­tion Pro­ceed­ings” togeth­er with Prof. Dr. Klaus Sachs (CMS, Munich) and Dr. Gerold Zeil­er (ZFZ, Vien­na).
